On Tuesday, September 24, you may admire the star sky and our galaxy in the 20 meter live planetarium of DOT. We will start to lookup at the star sky from Earth and guide you along the constellations. We will then leave Earth and travel through our home galaxy, the Milky Way. We now know more about the Milky Way than ever before, thanks to the latest results of the #Gaia space observatory (for the full story, see: https://sci.esa.int/web/gaia/). In this planetarium show we will show the newest maps of the Milky Way with more than a billion stars, composed using Gaia Data Release 2.
Daily special: Beef burger with fries and mayonnaise.

The planetariumshow is from 20:00 - 21:00 at DOT, Vrydemalaan 2, Groningen. Please be present at 19:45 to enter the dome. Tickets cost 6.00 per person. This show will be in *English*.
